it is possible that Google will not be beaten by one big competitor. It is possible that they will be pecked at by thousands of tiny start-ups using a new outsourced infrastructure.
But before getting to that punchline, here is my 11 point recap of the search market
Most of these trends point in the direction of search as infrastructure feeding thousands of innovators in niche markets - a long tail approach, in other words. Google will play in this infrastructure game - they already do with Google Custom Search - but it is vendors such as Yahoo, Microsoft and Amazon with equally deep pockets and much more to lose from total Google dominance, who will be the disrupting innovators in this next phase of the search market

3.sandbox
a. 花更多的时间去更新你网站的内容;
b. 利用sandbox效应这段时间加入更多高质量的分类目录与交换更多交换更多的高质量链接;
c. 采取更多的营销手段保持网站正常的流量;
a. 在你的网站完成之前就把所申请的域名挂上去,等过了sandbox效应时期再上传网页(这个手法不提倡,在最后的一个段落里,我会就这一点发表一些个人的意见);
b. 对于一般零售业的网站来说,最重要的是尽量避免在购物的旺季前一到两个月上传网站;
c. 新网站被收录后,坚持每天或者至多三天就要更新一至两页的内容;
d. 向更多的高质量目录提交,交换更多相关主题高质量网站链接;
e. 如果前期排名理想的话,千万不要大动网站的整体结构;
a. google不喜欢那些只有域名而没任何内容的网站;
b. 如上所述,既然网站完成没有内容又何来排名,Sandbox效应更是无从谈起了;

Online word processors aren't as "handy" as one installed on your computer because if your internet goes away, so do your documents — so I will start with the most interesting piece of code I found. Google is working on a solution that will allow you to install [it's Writely Web-based word processing solution] on your local machine.
So, what Garrett is getting at is that a lot of people have poo-pooed the idea of Web-based productivity applications because of the so-called "offline problem." When your connectivity disappears for whatever reasons, you have no access to the code that drives the user interface of a Web-based word processor, nor do you have access to the storage where documents can be save to or retreived from. So, from Garrett's post, it appears as though Google's code for Writely has some built-in contingency plans for loss of connectivity that rely on the local host (eg: your desktop or notebook computer) to take over when Google's servers can't be accessed (again, for whatever reasons).
This is nothing new. Perhaps the best solution I've seen that does roughly the same thing and that makes synchronization between the local and network-based storage (and just requires a low-overhead local HTTP server) is Userland's Radio blogging solution (credit to Dave Winer). More and more, solu

Don’t you want a cut of your competitors search engine traffic? Remember SEO isn’t just about ranks, it’s really about who gets the traffic!
Now imagine that people searching in Google couldn’t click through to your competitors website if they use Firefox… Sweet, right? You can make it happen!
The issue with GooglebotSo what is this all about. Well, it seems like Googlebot has forgotten which characters are allowed in a valid domain. The crawlers are indexing subdomains with invalid characters. Subdomains which are not accessible through all browsers.

One of Microsoft's key Windows architects has defected to Google. But at least so far, no one is talking about what Marc Lucovsky's new role will be at one of Microsoft's major rivals.A 16-year Microsoft veteran, Lucovsky was one of a handful of "Distinguished Engineers" at Microsoft. He is credited as one of the core dozen engineers that came from Digital Equipment Corp. to Microsoft and built the Windows NT operating system. He was charged with building the Windows NT executive, kernel, Win32 run-time and other key elements of the operating system. NT was the precursor to Windows Server.
