Help with windows services
I need direction on how to create a program that will start multiple windows
services. Each service will monitor a specific directory using
FileSystemWatcher. I have the file system watcher part working...but how
does one create multiple windows services??

Can't delete registry key
I went to upgrade Nero 8 to the latest update and could not install so I
removed Nero 8 completely. However, there are still some keys that won't
delete in the reg. I tried Nero's Clean Tools but no luck. Updating the
software won't work because I get an error that it can't access a key in the
registry (InCD, which is not and does not install in Vista/Nero 8). I've
tried safe mode as well as 3 registry cleaners with no luck. What's the

can't delete folders with only spaces as name
i read in a computer magazine how you can name files using only spaces.
so i used it to clean my desktop a bit.

now i wanted to replace one of the folders on my desktop with a shotcut, but
windows simply refuses to start deleting or moving it(nothing happens, not
even an error)
when i use CMD to delete it i get an error that the filename is invalid.

i'm using windows vista home premium

Microsoft Word Viewer 2003 For Vista
I have a friend that has a new Hewlett-Packard with Windows Vista. She canâ??t
afford Office yet so is unable to open word documents. Carey Frisch and Ken
Blake have both (In the past) recommended the word viewer download at:

However, the latest supported operating system for this is shown as being
Windows XP. There is no indication as to whether this download is supported
on Media Center or Vista.

Can some one assure me that this download is Ok for Vista, or perhaps point
me to a Word Viewer that is Vista certified?

Please note that if I remove the line: "nChar = tolower(nChar);", the upper
case characters will be rejected and this is not what I want. I want the same
behaviour than the edit control's Lowercase property, which will convert all
characters to lowercase as they are typed into the edit box. However, this
property allows all other character types to be output.

Hi, I have an application that has about 3 subroutines that I'd like to use in another application so I decided to move them out into a DLL. Anyway, I moved them out and I call them from the two applications and they all work fine. When I moved them out, I temporarily commented out anything to do with the user interface - basically the routines do some processing of files that sometimes takes a long time so in the original application, the routines would update a little status form

What I'd like to do is popup the status form in each of the two applications and then call the subroutines in the DLL and then have the subroutine update the form. So I decided to add a simple textbox control in the subroutines' parameter list. When I go to compile the DLL I get
