I am building a Setup Project in Visual Studio 2008 for a project which only
requires .NET Framework 2.0. When I build the Setup Project and attempt to
utilize the .MSI file created by the Setup Project, the computer complains
that .NET Framework 3.5 is required to run the setup. Can I configure the
Setup Project to be built using .NET Framework 2.0 instead of 3.5? The end
result is that my machines have 2.0 installed and I don't need 3.5 for the
application I am trying to install?

folder sizes
Hello,
I am trying to find out how much disk space the various files & folders in
my 'Documents' take up.
I know how to get the size of individual files, and individual folders, but
is there a way of showing the folder tree with the sizes of all files ,
folders, sub-folders ate the same time ?
Thanks
KK

Vista Ulta. Excel 2002 Comments out of alinement
I have a couple of thousand rows with a hundred comments which I'm showing.
If I go to the top of the file and put in another line of date it will
through every comment I have out of whack. What can I do about this? Can I
fix this without a micro because I don't know crap about micro's.

How do you print 1 Page and Network Printers Appear in Word but not Outlook
I have two problems. First, it seems rather ridiculuous that there is no
easy way to print one page of an e-mail message. The only choice that you
have are even, odd, and all pages. The default format for e-mail is html.
What is even stranger is that I have Word 2003 SP1 set as the default for
editing e-mail messages, but when I click on edit on the Outlook menu bar,
it does not default to the word print dialog box, which last time I checked
allowed you to specify a range of pages.
The other problem is that I have a networked printer that appears in the
Word Printer dialog box, but does not appear in the Outlook dialog box.
You would think that Outlook and Word would use the same printer dialog
routine because they are both parts of the Office software.
TIA,
Pete

Tooltip causes an ASSERT() in a child dialog box
Hello experts,
I already posted about my problem a couple of days ago, but it's not
solved yet and I have some more details about it.
Using MS VC 6.0 and Vista.
I create a CTabCtrl control in a dialog box. For each tab, a child
dialog box contains a bunch of controls (CEdit, CComboBox...). I can
display tooltips for each control, no problem.
The problem is that when the cursor (I mean the mouse) leaves a
control, if it enters the tooltip area, I get an ASSERT() warning:
In WinCore.cpp
void CWnd::AssertValid() const
{
...
// should be a normal window
ASSERT(::IsWindow(m_hWnd));
...
}
This occurs only when the dialog boxes displayed in the tabs are CHILD
dialog boxes. If I choose "Overlapped" or "Popup", it works (but I
need a child dialog box).
What should I do to avoid this problem?
TXS
Phil

Is it advisable to write Mobile Device applications using multi-tier
methodology? Or as Devices are much more resource-limited, would keeping
the number of tiers help reduce memory and processor usage
